Mr. Johnson is currently a senior project manager for Corporate Construction Services. His responsibilities include the managing of large corporate clients' integration projects, such as the remodeling of banking facilities and office/industrial remodels. Other responsibilities include pricing of work required for CCCS's ongoing commercial facilities maintenance service, along with scheduling and follow-up of completion.
Upon joining CCCS, Inc., Mr. Johnson helped coordinate the Washington Mutual Bank integration of Home Savings of America. This included the planning, bidding, and construction of four major bank remodels, located in Oakland, Walnut Creek, Grass Valley and Roseville, California. Mr. Johnson was the lead person in handling the liaison between architect/builder and owner/builder. His responsibilities included bidding the projects, contract negotiation with subcontractors and budgeting of each individual project. Once construction started, he was field superintendent at one branch, supervised a field superintendent at another branch, and helped other field superintendents at other locations. During this integration process, Mr. Johnson also managed, from start-to-finish, the building addition of a free-standing vault at the Yuba City branch, along with a minor remodel of the branch. Once all construction was completed, Mr. Johnson followed-up on a walk-through of the branches and check-off list completions.
Mr. Johnson was also responsible for ATM upgrades in Northern California on behalf of Washington Mutual Bank. This included surveying of each existing machine layout, and the pricing to upgrade the locations to accommodate the updated machines. After submitting bids for the work, Mr. Johnson became responsible for the scheduling of work required, and the follow-up to ensure work was completed satisfactorily.
Ongoing and past projects include branch remodels for Patelco Credit Union and Sierra Central Credit Union; parking lot upgrades, sealing and striping for US Bank. Each remodel includes extensive ADA solutions and upgrades.
Mr. Johnson has recently been responsible for overseeing the re-vamping, re-lamination, and installing of bandit barriers in over 30 Citibank branches in Northern California. Work included making tellerlines ADA compliant with current codes. Along with these tellerline improvements, Mr. Johnson has been overseeing removal and installation of new tellerlines, which have been fabricated in CCCS, Inc.'s millwork division, for US Bank and Patelco Credit Union. Some of the remodels are ongoing at this time.
Previously, Mr. Johnson served as President/Project Manager for KRM Commercial Group DBA Kencor Construction company. His responsibilities included marketing, permit processing, bidding, budgeting, negotiating, and issuing of all construction contracts. He also supervised all tenant improvements awarded to the company.
Mr. Johnson served as Vice President/Project Manager for Pacific Scene, Inc., a construction and development company. Mr. Johnson was responsible for all office, warehouse, and mini-storage development and construction. This included planning, budgeting, bidding, construction, lease-up and marketing of each project.
Mr. Johnson worked as Vice President/Broker for J.R. Ferguson company, a real estate investment firm. His responsibilities included all land acquisitions and sales, organizing limited partnerships, handling real estate exchanges, management of properties, leasing, supervision of building projects and management of five people.
Mr. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate from San Diego State University.
