Mr. Bauer is currently the Vice President of Corporate Construction Services. His responsibilities include planning, scheduling, budgeting and field supervision of all ongoing projects. Gary is also responsible for the daily operations of the Pleasanton office of CCCS, Inc.
CCCS, Inc. was awarded the Washington Mutual Bank Phase II ATM Rollout Project, installing nineteen ATMs in the Sacramento and Bay areas. As the General Contractor, it was Gary's responsibility to manage all phases of the installation including: site surveys, construction documents, demolition, ATM room additions, drive-up teller window removals and AB244 upgrades.
Gary also completed the second phase of the 1999 Integration Project for Washington Mutual Bank. CCCS was awarded sixteen branches in the San Francisco Bay area. Phase one included electrical installations, saw-cutting of concrete and tenant improvements for the Great Western Bank conversion branches. Phase two included converting all Home Savings of America facilities to Washington Mutual Bank facilities. Work on these branches includes vault expansions, teller line modifications and electrical installations. Also included in theses projects are ATM installations and swap-outs.
Gary currently is working on many Citibank and AT&T cellular projects throughout the Northern California area.
Previous projects include a portion of the Wells Fargo/First Interstate Bank merger. Gary managed the conversion of twenty-three branches in the San Francisco Bay area. He has also been involved in an ATM installation program with ValliWide bank in the Central Valley. CCCS, Inc. has successfully completed site surveys, construction documents, construction and ATM installations at eight ValliWide offices. Work at the ValliWide offices included ATM room additions, drive-up teller window removals and AB244 lighting upgrades. CCCS, Inc., has also completed several projects for Sanwa Bank and World Savings Bank including ATM swap-outs and surround installations.
Among other construction projects, Gary completed an ADA upgrade project for Wells Fargo Bank that affected sixteen offices. He was also a Project Manager on an eight-story office building restack for Bank of America. His responsibilities included site surveys, scheduling, and field supervision. He went on to work on a 25,000 sq. foot tenant improvement for Bank of America's Private Banking division. Gary also worked on a 40,000 sq. foot restack for American Savings Bank's Corporate Headquarters in Stockton, California, relocating several departments throughout the building to three floors. Gary was a Project Manager during the Bank of America/Security Pacific merger.
Mr. Bauer has a B-1 General Contractor's license in active and good standing since 1980. His education consists of an AA degree from Ohlone College, Construction Management & Contract Law Certifications from Chabot College and a Supervisor's certification for asbestos abatement.
